Banjo No Himawari

A human skeleton is discovered north of Tokyo. There is a shogi piece next to it. Two detectives are assigned to the case and the first place they look is with the maker of game piece. In the meantime, a superlative shogi player recalls his terrible childhood and angry father and how an encounter lead to his becoming a shogi player. The two detectives drive to visit the shogi player. They wonder whether they have established a connection between the crime and the player.
